In 2006 we started the Stapleton Community Garage Sale, and by 2010 more than 300 homes were participating each year. The annual sale became well known throughout Denver and beyond. Building on the success of that event, we organized the first Painted Prairie Community Garage Sale in 2021.
2026 Sale
The 2026 Painted Prairie Community Garage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 8:00 AM to Noon.

Registration for the 2026 sale is now CLOSED.
Location
Individual sales take place at homes throughout the Painted Prairie neighborhood.

Cost to Participate
There is no cost to participate. All costs of organizing and advertising the sale are paid by Diana and Michael Kearns, The Kearns Team at Realty ONE Group Five Star.
Post Sale Cleanup
Please remember to clean up after your sale. Remove any signs placed on your property or elsewhere. Please do not leave items at the curb with "Free" signs. We welcome local organizations who may wish to collect donations of unsold items.
