Well, for a lot of reasons 2020 was a year we'd all rather forget. In our own little world, the COVID-19 pandemic (and social distancing) caused the cancelation of the Central Park Community Garage Sale for the first time since 2006.
As 2021 progresses, colorado residents are getting vaccinated and local governments are easing the social distancing restrictions that have kept us at home and away from our neighbors. Recently we've been hearing the same question over and over: "will there be a garage sale in Central Park this year?"
We are excited to announce that the 2021 Central Park Community Garage Sale will be held on Saturday May 22!
The first sale was held back in 2006 (as the Stapleton Community Garage Sale) and we had a few dozen homes participate. Over the years the Sale grew and grew, eventually reaching a peak of 400 homes! We're expecting to have 300+ homes participating this year.
Sales will be held at individual homes throughout the Central Park neighborhood in Denver, CO. There's no charge for residents to participate - all costs of organizing and advertising the sale are covered by Diana and Michael Kearns, The Kearns Team at Realty ONE Group Premier.
