The Painted Prairie community is a 600 acre residential development under construction in Aurora, CO. Located south of Denver International Airport and adjacent to the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center, the first residents of Painted Prairie moved into their homes in early 2020.
According to the developer, "Painted Prairie incorporates community-building moments within the haven of home. Tree-lined streets with alley-loaded homes create front yards with room to play and connect. At Painted Prairie, connectivity is key, whether being linked to the community through a variety of ultimately-walkable, bike-friendly streets, paths, and trails, to the connectivity you’ll discover when meeting friends at Town Center for a morning yoga class and cappuccino. Painted Prairie is where memories are made and friendships formed."
As one of the first neighborhood-wide events, we're excited that The Kearns Team organized and hosted the First Painted Prairie Community Garage Sale on Saturday, May 15, 2021 and it has now become an annual community event.

"Designed around a park containing a beautiful ridge, an optimal spot to take in the expansive vistas, from Longs Peak to Pikes Peak, including the majestic Rockies and colorful Denver cityscape, Painted Prairie honors its storied past while forging a dynamic future. Key to this vision is the restoration of the last of 165 headgates on the High Line Canal, preserving and honoring the last mile of this historic waterway. From the design of our homes and community, to the connectivity of our landscape, to building a bridge from past to present, Painted Prairie is your community, with everything you desire within easy reach."
